Umbria, make you think at the superb ham and norcinerie, the ancient art of working the pork. This traditional art in the recent past, has made Norcia famous all around the world for its honored “IGP” ham. "Prosciutti dal Mondo", in collaboration with Gambero Rosso, is a three-day event entirely devoted to the King of Norcineria: a selection of the best Italian and foreign hams.
There will be tastings of different kind of hams, craft beers, workshops, music and guided tours to the historical Surgical museum of Preci. For four days the streets of Norcia, will be "invaded", from the best international producers of ham. The aim of the event is to offer to curious, passionate, and professionals the opportunity to know and taste the real excellences of these productions and learn all about the know-how of the producers.
You will find the a lot of stands of ham producers, in collaboration with experts from the Gambero Rosso, there will be tastings of different kind of hams, craft beers, workshops, music and guided tours to the historical Surgical museum of Preci to learn about the origins and history of art norcina.
